So, I'm finally watching Doctor Who (season 1). I'm only on the third episode, but the show is NOTHING like I thought. At first I thought it was coocky, but I found myself caught up in the story and a little bit heartbroken for the Doctor.

Anyway, I'll keep you posted, Mellie, but I don't know how I'm going to handle them changing over to DT even though he's adorable and sexy.

Any other shows we can talk about? I'm watching Arrested Development AND LOVING IT! What a crazy, messed up family!

Our "Lost" thread kind of dies when it's not on. I can't wait for it to start up again. Final season. Better be good!

I haven't seen any of this season's True Blood! Kat, are you an Eric fan or Bill fan? Have you read the books? I'm totally team Eric. There's something about Bill that I find incredibly boring (in the books at least). I thought you didn't like Anna Paquin...how are you dealing with her as Sookie?

Okay, this is quickly going to become a Doctor Who thread.

Erm, sorry.

I'm on episode 7 of the first season and I wanted to cry in the Dalek episode! Poor Doctor! So angsty I love it! The last of his kind, eh? Well, he's bloody freaking hot and I can't wait for Mellie's David Tennant to take over in season two. Anyway, I think Billie Piper is very pretty and kick ass. Also, this show reminds me of Buffy. And what's wrong with the TARDIS that it keeps going where it shouldn't!? Is that like a standing joke?

HAHA I can't even watch True Blood! I just put it on because I was sure that some of you were obsessed. I tried, really hard might I add, to enjoy it, but ick. Anna. ICK.

yeah i cant watch it because of Anna too.

im on a Top Gear, Project Runway, Top Chef kinda fix right now.
and my boytoy LOVES this show Man vs Food. he is determined to take the 12 egg omlete challange in seattle. doubt he can down it but .. meh. it will be hilarious to see him try.

HAHA I can't even watch True Blood! I just put it on because I was sure that some of you were obsessed. I tried, really hard might I add, to enjoy it, but ick. Anna. ICK.

The show is written for the lowest common denominator; I cannot STAND it. I watched two episodes to placate my sister and decided it was GOD AWFUL. The sex is so gratuitous and the plot is lame. Doctor Who is SUCH a better written show, and that is a family show...ie. for KIDS.

I will definitely agree that it is a show for the LCD, but I love the opening credits. Gets me everytime.

I also agree that Doctor Who is superior. To everything.

Doctor Who marathon on BBC America next Sunday. I highly recommend checking it out. I have convinced Indie of its excellence and think others would like it too!

Bliss, I just watched a BUNCH of Top Gear episodes!
I really enjoyed it. If I were a celebrity I would want to be on that show so bad. The Simon Cowell-Jay Kay competition is so great. I love that Jay Kay got the fastest lap after two years of Simon taking the top.

Have you noticed that he always seems to have trouble locating 3rd gear? In the Wasp and the Unicorn behind-the-scenes DWC he also cannot find 3rd to save his life!

So I started watching Supernatural. I kinda like it.

I maybe am a little bit in love with Jensen Ackles character. I have a really sterotypical things for bad boys.
It's sad.

Man! I never used to watch so much TV, but it seems since the digital switchover (umm, I don't even own a TV anymore) I've watched more TV than ever! Hulu is my friend.

You guys, I am thinking that I am taking Flash Forward off of the dvr. I want desparately to love it and am just not. I can't believe that we have to wait for more Lost AND more Doctor Who. I AM loving Fringe. Is anyone else watching that show? John Noble, who played Denethor in LOTR, is in it and is AWESOME!!! Love him!!
