Rupert Friend and Orlando are VERY similar in appearance. I think that Rupert is the better actor though.

You should. They are amazing.
Start with either Spirited Away or Howl's Moving Castle. Then try Princess Mononoke, Grave of the Fireflies (not a Miyazaki film, but made by his studio), Porco Rosso, and Tortoro. He's got a bunch others, but try those first. Indie

Has anyone else see The Orphanage? I ::just:: finished watching this film, and I needed to share. It is produced by the brilliant Guillermo Del Toro
(Hellboy, Pan's Labyrinth) and is another masterful piece of work. It sort of is a horror film, but not really. More of a thriller actually, but
it is really about a determined mother's love for her child when he goes missing. In some ways, it is a little like Silent Hill, but without the
grossness or the action. It is much more cerebral, and the end (while not completely happy) is really satisfying. (I was crying, although that doesn't take
much.)
I am giving this 5 stars on Netflix, which I usually reserve for films that I MUST own, but I think that this one deserves it. It is in Spanish with English subtitles, but don't let that put you off. Really really enjoyed this film.

A friend dragged me to see Paranormal Activity. I watched the entire movie from behind my hands. I get really scared in scary movies...I never really grew out
of it, which I think is kind of odd. I mean, I actually have gotten worse with age.
Anyway, it was scary, but from the way people were talking, I thought it was going to be THE SCARIEST MOVIE EVER. Jeez. It was not. I still screamed and jumped, but that was it. I think that I was actually feeling overconfident because I've been watching Supernatural. The whole time they were trying to "handle" what was going on in the movie, I just sat there thinking "that is not how you get rid of this thing AT ALL. Get the salt, the Knife and the Colt gun and commence with the Latin chanting." AHAHAH! Like I could really kill a demon! I really just want to see Where the Wild Things Are. Indie

so, we got "Inkheart" ondemand the other night during a family dinner, thinking the kids would like it. They ate and left to go play, me and the
husband watched it. It wasn't bad........Andy Serkus was in it, and he's always fun to watch. And funnily, there is a young guy playing a character
from "Arabian Nights" that kept having these OB/ Will Turner look alike moments! My husband started noticing it too after I pointed it
out......anyone see that movie? The original preview made me think it was going to be very different from what it was.
**can't WAIT to get UP on dvd this week!!**
