COULDN'T agree with you more about the end of the movie with the Harry/Snape scene. I was really hope for A LOT more drama, screaming, and general hatred. I was disappointed when Snape said that he was the HBP. I found that I didn't care since the film didn't make such a big deal out of it. I did care, of course, but the film made me not want to.

I also agree with you about Tom Felton. He did amazing. What a superb actor he has grown into...and a handsome one! I had no idea he was SO tall and skinny! This is the first film I was actually, like whoa, HI Draco

haha.

What did you think of Cormac? HOTTIE.

I, too, missed Luna's roaring hat. That would have been some super easy CG - from what I hear from CG friend types...!

I LOVED Hermione's fro. So awesome.

And my favorite part of book 6 is when Harry tries to attack/curse Snape as he's chasing after them and Snape says something like:

"...again, and again, and again until you learn to keep your mouth closed and your mind shut Potter!"

And then Harry calls him a coward and Snape (famously) screams back "Don't you EVER CALL ME A COWARD!"

That was my fave too. That was the only part I missed in the movie. That and "It's Over". I could just hear Alan Rickman's voice saying that.

i didnt like it. that was a general opinion of potter-lovers here too, unfortunately. no one here liked it. weird.

That's because he did say it...in about 8 different trailers. Unfortunately, it didn't make it to the final cut.

I saw D-9!!!

I thought it was VERY well done. I loved Christopher. OMG - Vikus was a terrible, terrible person! I guess that's what made him so interesting though - he was such a bad person, but yet you had to root for him in the end.

That torture scene - ugh. I'm still really upset by it.

Also, Vikus looks like Christian Bale!!!

Matt & I just watched Revolutionary Road. I loved the book, adored the movie. So good. Matt thought it had a weird tone, but he didn't read the book and trust me, the tone was perfect.

I watched "Adventureland" & 'Ghosts of Girlfriends Past" on the plane ride to CA. Fun, neither worthy of a second watch. Kristen Stewart is more boring than ever and while Matthew McConaughy is hotter than ever, it's just another Matthew McConaughy movie where he takes his shirt off a lot. Plus, his chemistry with Jen Garner was horrible.

I'm not a fan of Quintin Tarentino - at all. I don't like Pulp Fiction and there's something about Tarentino that I have never liked. HOWEVER, I did enjoy the Kill Bills and Resevoir Dogs (probably just because I really like Michael Masden).

Inglorious Basterds was GREAT.

The first three "chapters" had me almost screaming in terror just because the guy who plays Hans Landar is scary as F U C K. This man deserves an Academy Award for the scene were he orders a glass of milk. HOLY GOODNESS GRACIOUS! I was petrified out of my mind. Go see this movie just for him. I think his name is Christopher Waltz.

The movie is very long and there are a lot of typical Tarentino-esque scenes where the characters sit around tables and talk. BUt that "talk" is so laden with tension!

Of course it's got a western/cowboy-ish feel to the film, and it's incredibly aware that its a movie. There are scenes that are very tongue-in-cheek and laugh-out-loud.

The best Tarintino film I've ever seen. Go watch it!

Ummm, if you're looking for historically accurate, this may not be for you.

Go watch it so I can gush about all my favorite scenes!!!
