1) Go to Fellowship of the Word-smiths, and read their word-by-word analysis of the Elvish spoken in the movies, to start getting an idea (and to understand the movie!) Check out their many Sindarin resources, including a summary of grammar, pronunciation, and original compositions. The latter are useful to study and learn vocabulary.
2) Go to Ardalambion, best website on all Elvish languages, in my opinion. Scroll down; there's a page of useful vocabulary, and up near the top, "Sindarin: the Noble Tongue" is a comprehensive discussion of pretty much every bit of Sindarin Elvish we know. That's where I learned most of what I learned.
However, Ardalambion intimidates some people. In that case-- and even if you do use Ardalambion--
3) The best Elvish lessons I know are
Council of Elrond's ELVISH 101 LESSONS AND FORUM. There's practice exercises, the moderators Gildor-Inglorion and Naneth will answer student questions, and Naneth even goes over your workbook answers if you like to double-check that you've got it and give you advice. Plenty of other experienced Elvish users are there and constantly help each other and answer each other's questions, and there's Sindarin games to help learn vocabulary and just for fun.
You can work at your own speed. How much or how little you learn is up to you.
BEWARE OF ELVISH SITES ON THE WEB. MANY ARE BOGUS. There's one called the Gray Company, I think, which appears to teach good Elvish, but in fact combines two entirely different languages in Tolkien -- Quenya and Sindarin, which aren't the same thing at all -- plus it throws in a lot of made-up Elvish words that aren't Tolkien's, and words from Dungeons & Dragons. Unfortunately a great many people don't realize the Gray Company's Elvish isn't Tolkien's, so a lot of other websites rely on them and have spread their pseudo-Elvish far and wide.
