Thrina was getting a hoarse voice from last 10-minutes yelling to a closed door of Jamies winnebago, and her hand was red and soring from constant banging into it. After she took care of Dom and his nose, and after failing in finding out why he and Orlando decided to beat a crap from each other, she ran to speak with the third person involved in this fuss. JAMIE!!!! She leant her forehead against the door and hit it few times. Girl!! Where the hell are you?! What is goin Her head flinched away when she heard a slight click of lock. But nothing happened afterwards. Thrina frowned staring at a handle. It didnt move. she locked it or unlocked it? She bit her lip considering her next step. Cmon!!! Its not like youre going for a meeting with your boss!! Extremaly mean boss Thrina put her hand on the handle, took a deep breath and pushed it. The door opened. Jamie? she peeked uncertainly inside. In kitchen. A faint oneless voice flew to Thrinas ears. At least shes alive she spoke in whisper to herself while closing the door. But when Jamie left the kitchen, she changed her mind. She looked like death! Jesus Christ!! Girl!!! What has happened to you?! Thrina ran to Jamie and grabbed her by her arms. Jamies pale face was still wearing dried tracks of tears. Her weary and puffy eyes told Thrina that she had to spend long hours on weeping. What that stupid elf did now?! she asked herself in thoughts examinating carefully her friends features. She hadnt seen her for four days, only four short days but now Jamie seemed to be this totally different person. There was something in her, something that scared Thrina to death. Something in her eyes Want something to drink? Jamie stood slightly aside avoiding Thrinas sight. No! I dont want anything to drink! I want to talk! About what? Jamie sat on the chair and stared into opposite wall. Thrina winced. She had a funny feeling that Jamie also wasnt going to make her life easy, and shed have to go through the same hell she went not so long ago with Orlando and Dom. She grabbed the chair and sat in front of Jamie almost lying herself on the table. About everything! About what is bloody goin on here! About you, Orlando and Dom! Dom? Jamie cast a quick confused glance at Thrina. What Dom has to do with me? Yes, Dom! My Dom!! He and Orlando got in fight today. They both look like they collided a wall. That would explain that bruise on his face Jamie spoke to herself, her eyes again fixed on something indefinite behind Thrinas back. You saw him? So he finally did something smart and came to talk to you Jamie said nothing only started nibbing white fabric wrapped around her right palm and wrist. Only then Thrina spotted the application. What happened to your hand? she asked with a deep frown. She almost felt nausea when her imagination suggested her the worst possible scenario. But it was too horrific to even consider that. Jamie quickly hid her hand under the table. Nothing. I had a small accident. Jamie, what is going on? Please, talk to me. I dont understand what happened. Did you talk to Orlando? Jamie rose her head and nodded. And? And nothing. What do you mean nothing?! I wont sand for another NOTHING!! Thrina lost her temper and spurted from her saet. Why everybody say NOTHING?!! Im fed up with those constant NOTHINGS!! Is it NOTHING that a girl i know who one day is crazy in love with a guy, the next day decides to leave him cuz of some foolish reasons? Or two best friends trying to kill each other?? Is that also NOTHING? Thrina stopped her frantic walk around the room and hit her fist against the table. Yet Jamie seemed to not make much of the fact that her friend was a step from exploding. Jamie!! Why are you acting like this?! Why at least you cant be normal?? I have no strength... Thrina rushed back to her seat and took Jamies hand in hers. She regreted her outburst now seeing her expression, so helpless, torment and miserable. Please, talk to me. Meybe i can help you Theres nohing you can do This cursed nothing again. Thrina groaned with despair. But can you at least tell me what you and Orlando decided? There was noth there wasnt anything to decide. So you didnr change your mind? You still are ready to give up on Orlando? And why? Cause of Lauren? Jamie shook her head as if dismissing some painful memory. Few strands of her hair slipped from her ponyail and fell to her face. No its no longer about Lauren. Than about who? Or what? If not Lauren i dont see any other reason, though if you want to know my opinion even THAT one was foolish, but never mind that now. Few hours ago i was talking to Orlando. He looked trashed. He still loves you This time Jamie lost her temper. She sat up tempestuously knocking her chair down. You dont know what youre talking about! she growled through her teeth; her fists shew white on the knuckles as she clenched them painfully tight. Thrina almost choked seeing such anger in Jamies eyes. She never saw her like this. Thrina had this particular habit of giving to people she just met tags with he firs impression they made on her. Only in her head of course. And she usually was never mistaken in her opinions. And the tag she sticked to Jamie when she first met her, on that red-letter day when they all first met, read Mother Teresa with a constant need to laugh and made other people laughing. And now this mother Teresa was about to bite her head off. What? You know nothing Jamie powerlessly fell back to her chair as she picked it up. In that moment she would burst in tears if any left in her eyes. I dont undertsand Do you know with who Orlando spent last night? Thrina shook her head. With Lauren. Her voice was tinted with ice when she said that. Thrina stared at Jamie as if she didnt fully catch what she said. But her expression was a best proof that she didnt misunderstood anything. But... but i talked to him today... he didnt say anything! Did you expect that hed confess to that? But... he told he still loves you and- Stop saying that! He never did love me! I let him fool me! If what you say is true than he fooled us all. But i will never believe in that. Im sorry but i cant. You wont believe in what? That he slept with Lauren last night, or that he was lying all this time that he loves me. Jamie asked in a hollow voice; her eyes cold, almost piercing Thrinas head through. Both! I saw you guys together! God! I saw him for those last last three days! How he was freaking out when he couldnt reach you! That wasnt fake! God damnit!! I will never believe that he was faking! I saw them kissing today. What? When?! After lunch. I was looking for you. I went to the hobbits house and found them making out in the kitchen. And to me he didnt look like someone whos freaking out. Thrinas jaw dropped. After lunch? So that means it was after i talked to him... He was supposed to go to Jamie and instead... Nonono!!! That cant be! There must be some explanation! Are you sure...? SURE??!! What do you mean if im sure? Do you think i could mistake him with Dom?! Or Billy?!! Or Lij?!!! Do you think i suddenly forgot how Orlando looks like?! Well i didnt!! Even if i wanted to! I see him nonstop in my head and it pains me like hell! Or maybe i forgot how Lauren looks like? I didnt forget that either since she suddenly decided to become my best friend and for last three days i spent wither more time than during those bloody two months! Jamie had continued her bitter speach while Thrina was getting more and more helpless and terrified with everything she was hearing. Do you know how i felt when i saw her that day? Hardly few hours after her boyfriend left my bed? I had to talk to her still feeling his touch upon my skin! Do you have any idea what a torture that was? How guilt i felt? And what was i supposed to tell her when she was streaming with how much she loves him? Spare you girl! Orlandos mine now!? Should i throw it into her face? Im glad i didnt even if i could. I would only fool myself. I wanted to be noble, and instead it turned out i was a fool... Dont say that! Youre not a fool! Then how would you call it? I dont know! But youre definitely not a fool! And if you are that makes me a fool too. And Freddy. And Dom. And the whole rest that knew about you two. And i still dare to claim its impossible and there must be some reasonable explenation of everything, and as soon as we find it, all this will be over, and you and the elf boy will be together again. You still dont get it, do you? I dont care if theres any explanation. Reasonable or not. Thriny, he slept with her, how can you explain that? How can you FORGIVE that? That Thrina couldnt answer. Jamie made her point. Besides she was the most stubborn person on the planet and further persuading her had no major sense, even if Thrina was rest assured that THERE IS an explanation that WILL DO straighten everything up, and their lives will be carefree again and filled with clubbing and having fun, and their only problem will be Peter cursing their drunken arses. Those beautiful times must come back or my name isnt Thrina Rose!! Im sorry hunny, im so sorry you have to go through this, and it pisses me off that i cannot help you! A very weak smile played on Jamies lips. Now she felt guilty for that yelling at Thrina and acting like a total lunatic. She went to her and hugged her tight. Youre helping me right now. Being here and dealing with me. Im sorry for snapping at you like that, its- Dont be silly! Thrina cut Jamie off and hugged her back. Tears of emotion slowly forming in the corners of her eyes. You have nothing to be sorry for. I know youre going through a real hell. I would probably act the same.if not worse. But... what are you going to do now? With Orlando i mean... Will you at least talk to him? There is really nothing to talk about. Youre not going to forgive him? I really dont know. Its too hard. Right now i would kill him. Besides i doubt if he cares about my forgiveness. And even if i forgive him one day i will never forget what he did. Its too painful... Thrina let out a long sigh. Everything went this whole wrong way... Dont have to tell me. I just dont know how i will make it through seeing him everyday. I will help you. Thrina drowned in her thoughts for few moments contemplating how in hell she could help Jamie if she herself was totally lost in this situation, and had no even the slightest idea what to do. Sound of Jamies voice and sweet smell of a strawberry tea woke Thrina from her daydreaming. She found two mugs with steaming liquid standing on the stable and Jamie sitting in front of her with a smile lightening her face. But not her eyes. Her eyes still seemed to be lifeless. Hi again. Jamie spoke handing Thrina a small bag with sugar. Sorry. Lately im having this tiring and really disturbing habbit of thinking. And it catches me in the most unfit moments. I need to definitely end with it. Its not healthy. They both giggled and for a moment Thrina had a feeling that her old good Jamie was back again. But this feeling quickly faded when she caught a glimpse of her eyes. Those were eyes of someone who lost their faith, someone who doesnt see hope for the future. And she couldnt believe those were her friends eyes. I must help her somehow. I cant stand how miserable she is. I swear, either ill make them be together again or ill kill Orlando for spoiling everything. Do you know whats killing me the most? Jamie broke a heavy silence that fell upon the room. What? That i had to see it with my own eyes. Even though i wanted to leave Orlando and end this... the sight of him kissing Lauren was like a smash in my head, you know? I was leaving him despite my love, thinking that he loves me too, and it turned out that it was me who was left... i still cant believe it. Neither do i. Thrina paused scanning Jamies face. You still love him, dont you? Jamie laughed bitterly. Thats the worst part! I do. I love him and i hate him at the same time. I hate him because he caused i fell in love with him. Does that make any sense to you? Im afraid it does. I really dont know what to think about it. I always thought i understood peoples characters well. I cannot believe i was so wrong about him. You were. I was. I also dont understand it. And to tell the truth i dont want understand it. Im too tired of all this. Im tired of trying to be happy despite everything thats happening to me. Jamie took a small sip of her still steaming tea while Thrina thoughtlessly played with the sugar bag. She sighed deeply for a hundred time that day. Men suck! she announced in a grim tone. They do indeed. Jamie frowned seeing how Thrinas eyes lit up suddenly with something that was saying i have a wonderful idea thatll change everything and make our lives better!! But usually those wonderful ideas meant nothing good, like the time when Thrina dragged her and Freddy to a gay pub, there was a fight, police came and the three of them ended up at the police station explaining that they are no lesbian fuss makers. No wonder that Jamie felt somehow... uneasy. I have an idea! Lets make a pact! What pact? Jamie asked carefully, trying to get rid of a vision of bloody pacts, bloody sacrifices and generally blood everywhere from her head. A girlish pact! You and me! And Freddy will join us when we tell her... But what pact? OUR pact!! Against MEN!! Against their filthy and disgusting and lying kind! Jamie laughedout seeing such determination in her frinds expression. Dont laugh! Its serious! But the more serious Thrina tried to be, the more Jamie was sniggering. You wanna make a pact? Against men? While youre having a boyfriend? Thrina squinted at that reminder. Hes a lousy boyfriend. But you loveim. And he loves you. Maybe he loves me, and maybe he doesnt. Lately im not sure of anything! Jamie saddened at those words. Thrinny, im sorry. I didnt mean to come between you and Dom. Because of me now youre... Jamie trailed off as she wasnt sure what to say. She felt awful. But Thrina wasnt her friend for nothing. She quickly caught what Jamie was trying to express. She reached through the table and held her fiddling with a spoon hand. Stop that right now. You didnt come between me and Dom. Okay, i love him but giving him a little lesson wont hurt. You know how i always wished he could at least once do something sweet and romantic like Orlando did... Well, after recent events i advice you to stop wishing Dom did same things as Orlando. Jamie stated dryly, and Thrina burst in laughter. Though the whole situation was tragic and heartbraking she couldnt stop laughing. And she laughed even harder when she saw Jamie laughing as well. Theres ... nothing... funny... in... that...!!! Jamie stammered gasping for air. I know...! Thrinas trembling voice flew from under the table where she slipped holding her belly and shaking in a spasmatic attack. But its so... fu(king... gasp gasp ironic!!! Soon their laughing fit changed into not less histeric weeping and they both sat on the floor holding each other and rocking to the sides. There was only some slow sheet song missing to make their miserable state complete. Were pathetic. Thrina stated grimly after using 10th tissue to clean her nose. I know. And that bloody kind is responsible for that! I know. We need to get rid of all men from this planet. That was the day when the Council of Elrond was supposed to hold. The great day that was supposed to be indeed. That day Jamie was going to put her new plan into operation. It was rather a simple plan- avoiding Orlando, treating him as if he didnt exist, and in front of Lauren acting like nothing happened. Good plan... She sighed after splashing her face with cold water. In a broken mirror she saw many pair of big scared eyes looking back at her. Get a grip girl. You cant show him your weakness. Do everything you have to to survive this cursed day without breaking down. Hes a bastard who doesnt deserve your love. Jamie repeated her hartening mantra about 15 times and after that... she burst in tears. Twenty minutes later she was again ready to leave. She wished Thrinny or Feddy was with her right now but their working day began at 5 oclock since putting pointy ears, shaggy wigs and big hairy feet was taking long hours. So she had to face the reality all by herself. She only didnt know if she was strong enough to do that. Actually she was pretty sure she is not when she felt tears stinging her eyes again. After taking a deep breath she ducked under the bed and dragged out a pile of... everything, hoping there would be some not yet used pack of tissues. But instead tissues she found a letter Orlando left her that fateful day. She completely forgot about it. ...before we notice well be together again... she read the words and to her own surprise she didnt broke. She stared at the letter for few long minutes, repeating in her head words of love that came and went. And she didnt cry. She didnt cry when the letter turned into a small pile of white shreds, and she didnt cry when she finally reached Rivendell and an unearthly beautiful blond-haired elf stood on her way. Jamie, i need to talk to you. He spoke in a soft but determinated voice. Jamie was looking at him for a moment, no emotions were visible on her face, and then she passed him and left without a word. Orlando wanted to run after her but then Thrina stepped into an action. Leave her alone. She said sternly. But i need to talk to her! You were supposed to do that yesterday. But instead you chose to have a little fun with your girlfriend. Despite the make-up (the one who was doing it demonstrated an incredible mastery in hiding the huge sinew on his face), Orlando paled even more. I dont understand you, Orlando. I really thought you love Jamie, i really thought you care about her... I do. Cut the crap, okay?! I don believe in any of your words anymore. So as Jamie. So just let the girl be. Leave her alone and take care of Lauren. BLOOM!!! DO YOU THINK YOUR HONOURABLE BUTT COULD JOIN US ON THE SET??!! Petes voice roared in the air. Leave her alone. Shes suffering enough cuz of you. Thrina said once more and then she ran towars the trailer where some soon-to-become-an-elf was waiting for his make-up. *<><><><><> CUT!! Peter yelled for the 6th time during last 25 minutes, and went straight to a blond elf. Bloom, listen to me carefully because though i was telling you this at least 10 times already you seem to not understand the English language. Everyone rolled their eyes and groaned fidgeting on their chairs. It seemed that the Council of Elrond would last forever. And everything because of one stubborn elf. Boromir offends Strider and you are pissed off. PISSED!!! Do you hear me? So please act like a one PISSED elf and not like an elf who has a TAPEWORM!!! The whole crew burst in laughter. Gandalf covered his face with his long grey beard trying to hide his amusement. Elrond knitted his scary eyebrows, put her sunglasses on and looked as if he wanted to say Mister Greenleaf! If because of you i miss my lunch i will destroy you! Orlando couldnt look more miserable when he stood there with his head hung low and a completely trashed expression upon his face. Did you understand me, you one deaf elf??!! Yes sir. Okay, lets do it again. And this time i want to have it done!! <><><><><>* Dom! Can we talk? Orlando caught up with two chatting hobbits. We cant. Dom answered shortly not looking at Orlando nor stopping his walk. Whats going on? Billy asked with a confusion. Cmon Dom! Dont act like a browned off woman. You think i dont have a right to be browned off?! Do you know what hell Peter make me today when he saw my face? I know. I had same hell. Maybe even worst! Well good! You earned it! Guys what is going on? Billy asked again but got no answer again. Neither Dom nor Orlando seemed to hear him. Youre a stupid a$$hole and i am not going to speak with you! Please! I am sorry! I know im an a$$hole, and you have any right to be mad at me. Guys... Mad?! Dom stopped suddenly and pierced Orlandos head with his ice blue stare. I am not mad. I am pissed because one of my friends turned out to be the gratest moron ive ever seen! Youre right! I am a moron, and a$$hole and the worst bastard, and i hate myself for it. For what ive done. To you, to Jamie, to everyone... What did you do? Billy tried again to get some information that could explain him his friends behaviour. And this time he wasnt going to be ignored. He sqashed himself between Orlando and Dom and glared at both with a hard look. TELL!! ME!! RIGHT!! NOW!! Okay, ill tell you!! This Mister Right here is a bloody jerk! Dom blurted. Well, that i already know from your pseudoconversation. But what i want to know now is WHAT he did that made him this bloody jerk. Well Orlando? Will you tell Billy? Will you share with your friend what you did? Dom asked with irony. Orlando lowered his sight and whispered barely audiable, I slept with Lauren. Billy goggled. Excuse moi but WHAT??? You heard him well! Dom cut in. But thats not everything! He then accused me that i told Jamie about it and pounched me in the nose! But you pounched me back! And what?! You think that solves everything?! No... You damn right!! Dom, i am really sorry. I know that i had no right to hit you or snap out at you but i really didnt know what i was doing. I freaked out! And i still dont know what to do... And what? You expect me to help you now? Im not expecting anything. I just dont want to lose your friendship. Please Dom, dont let my stupidity to ruin it. Dom stared at Orlando for a while not saying anything. He was still angry at him but no matter how he tried he just couldnt resist his charm. He looked so miserable.... A scary thought grew in his head, OH MY GOD!! IM A GAY!! but he quickly shrugged it off. Please Dom, i really dont want to lose this friendship. Ive already screwed everything with Jamie. Billy was shifting his eyes from Orlando to Dom. This time he didnt interfere. Though he hadnt fully understood everything yet he knew there was something very not funny going on, and he prefered to wait. Okay, you bloody elf. Dom spoke finally. A shade of smile sneaked to his blue eyes. But i swear, if you do something stupid again, i will kill you. Orlandos face lit up at once. Fair enough! He gave Dom a tight hug and streamed with apologies, i-am-so-stupids and so on. Billy decided it was a good moment for reminding his presence again. Okay, since you two are friends again, would you be so kind and tell me, but this time more precisely, what was this all about? and i finally saw it!!! i finally saw ROTK!!!! and people!!! it was so damn amazing that i have no words to even describe this!!!! that was the best picture i've ever seen!!! of course there could be more legolas but..... WWUUUUUAAAAAWWWEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!! when i left the theatre i was crying like a baby!!! there were loads of people on the streets since it was a New Year's Eve, but i didn't care!!! THAT WAS THE LAST PART!!!! THERE WON'T BE ANOTHER!!! THERE WON'T BE ANY FOURTH PART!!! BUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i had a right to weep and grieve, right??? and that was the best and the most precious thing i've ever seen and experienced!!!! Jamie was heading for the lab. She snapped over a half of film rolls she brought and now she had to develop them, and that meant she was going to have a very busy rest of the day, and that in turn meant she would have no time for thinking. And that was a very good thing. She only forgot about one small detail. Almost one third of those pictures was showing Legolas. Be strong... be strong... be strong... be... she was repeating in her head over and over again while she pinned another picture to dry. On this one Orlando was looking straight at her. She gritted her teeth while moving her eyes along a line of pictures. He was on each. In different poses. With different faces. With different looks. But everytime same handsome. Everytime with this something in his eyes. Everytime with the rememberance of what he did. Something stung her in the heart. But she didnt cry. Why would she? Orlando was a bad person. The worst person. How could he do something like that? He made believe that he loves, and then without any scruples he came back to his girlfriend. How could anyone be so mean? Her head was pulsating from constantly the same question. Same annoying and painful question. Why Orlando? Why HIM?? Jamie heard some noise behind her back and twirled around with a start. She saw Orlando standing few steps from her. What are you doing here? she asked in an impassive voice and returened to the bins with developer. Some new pictures were almost ready. I went to talk to you. About what? Jamie took out a dripping sheet and pinned it to the line. She really looked like a one very busy with its work. Shows only. Truly she was whole shaky inside. About us. Orlando made a step forward but he stopped dead in his tracks when he saw expression on her face. Anger. Hate. Disgust. His heart flinched from pain. You got to be kidding me. What US? There was never US. Pity i didnt notice that earlier. Please Jamie, all this is one big misunderstanding! Let me explain... I dont want to hear your explainings, Orli. She wasnt looking at him still busy with her photographs. Her voice was now soft but still firm. There is no need. But- Wait, let me finish. You know that on the day you left Lauren came to me. We talked. She told me all those things.. that she loves you and how she doesnt want to lose you.. I know, im sorry you had to- Shut up! Jamie clenched her palms on the edge of the table. I felt so bloody guilty! So bloody bad because i thought i was taking her boyfriend from her! She came to me to confide! She came to the person who... she cut as she felt a strong stinging in her throat. She continued in a more quiet voice. I felt remorses. But only now i fully understood what had happened. You fooled me. I dont know how i could not notice what you were doing. You were playing with me. Tell me, have you had a good fun? Orlando was only standing on his spot as if his legs grew into the floor, too stunned and crushed with everything that was sinking to his head and heart. Why did you do that? Why did you hurt me so? Was it at least worth it? Jamie... i.. i dont know how it happened... but i swear i wasnt going to hurt you. Or fool you. But you did. I trusted you. I fell for you though god knows how hard i was fighting with it. And i gave in because i thought youre different, that youre special, that you would never hurt me. Youre a really good actor Orlando. And you definitely earned the Oscar. Or maybe it was me who was so dense. Jamie, youre unfair. Im unfair?! It wasnt me who slept with Lauren the very first night after your return! It wasnt me who was kissing Lauren yesterday!! It wasnt me who was fooling two girls and a bunch of friends!!! Jamie inhaled deeply feeling that a second more and she would explode. Orlando decided to use this moment and cut in. Jamie, what i feel for you is real and geniune. I do love you! Jamie laughed out though her heart was breaking inside. Are you serious?! No... You cant be serious!! You cant expect me to believe in that! Noone normal would say something like that! Orlando, YOU SLEPT WITH LAUREN!!! And now you dare to tell that you love me?! You really think im that stupid?! Oh wait, right, i let you fool me once so you think you can do that again. I can only blame myself! Please stop that!! I didnt fool you. That week with you was the most wonderful time in my life!! But when Lauren came back it ended, right? WHY DID YOU SLEPT WITH HER ORLANDO?! Jamie shouted out as she couldnt bottle up all this anger and hurt any longer. She was so embittered, so aggrieved and she felt it was so damn unfair that it happened to her again, that she wanted to scream. She wanted to know WHY!!! She didnt understand it. Why the same history repeated again? Was she cursed?? Or was it a punishment?? But for what?? Maybe she did something bad in her other life?? Something really bad. Im sorry, i am so sorry... She wanted to know the answer, she wanted to know WHY and not listen to another portion of empty sorries. Do you know where you can put all your sorries??!! Youre a piece of $hit and i dont want to have anything to do with you!! So spare me all those cheesy craps about how you love me or how sorry you are cuz i dont give a damn!! You wont even give me a chance to explain?! Orlando yelled back. Chance?! Chance you want?! For what?! For another fooling and cheating and lying?! You damn right i wont give you a chance!! You hurt me enough already!! Orlando gritted his teeth, his face wry in rage. I didnt deserve this!! I came here for calmly talk, to explain everything and shes snapping at me like that!! I did a bad thing but she at least should listen to me!! Fine!! But i will tell you one last thing! You reproached me for fooling you and lying to you and that i never loved you, but its YOU who really never loved me! Jamies jaw dropped. Was she hearing well?? What?? You heard me! If you really loved me you wouldnt score out so quickly what was between us!! Jamie shook her head in a total disbelief. I beg your pardon?! Orlando!! You slept withanother while three days earlier you were vowing that you love ME! Youre telling me thats not an enough reason to score you out?! Orlando said nothing only stared at Jamie as she continued in a bitter tone. I loved you more than you could imagine, more than i wished. And you blew it. So dont blame me that i dont want to listen to your explanations. I dont want to talk to you ever again. I also wished i could see you never again but for now its rather impossible. She pinned another photograph and turned back to Orlando and his harassed and miserable face; his eyes glimmering suspiciously. But she didnt care. He didnt make any impression on her anymore. She loved him but sometimes love isnt enough to forgive. Please go, and never talk to me again. We cant even be friends... like before...? You cant ask me for that. I cannot be your friend after everything that happened. I cant be a friend to someone i dont trust. For a moment Jamie had a feeling that Orlando would break down. He didnt though he looked like a one whos on the very edge. He didnt know what to do, nor what to say. There were no words proper in such moment. There was nothing he could do anymore. He lost her. And this time for good. It finally reached him. And his heart. And he couldnt stand it. It was his fault. He could only blame himself. He was too weak to tell Lauren the truth, to break up with her, and now he had to pay the price. The highst price. Im sorry Jamie. he whispered ready to leave. I never meant to hurt you. I love you and i always will. And i hope that maybe one day youll be able to forgive me. Im sorry. He sent Jamie one last glance and left. She looked after him, and when the door closed she went back to her photographs. That was the end. "My sister, Veronica and I did this double act and my husband, Charlie, used to travel round with us. Now, for the last number in our act, we did these 20 acrobatic tricks in a row One,two,three,four,five...splits, spread eagles, back flips,flip flops, one right after the other. So this one night before the show we're down at the hotel Cicero,the three of us,boozin',havin' a few laughs and we ran out of ice, so I go out to get some.I come back, open the door, and there's Veronica and Charlie doing Number Seventeen the spread eagle. Well, I was in such a state of shock, I completely blacked out. I can't remember a thing. It wasn't until later, when I was washing the blood off my hands I even knew they were dead."
