The reception was absolutely beautiful. The room was filled with chatter and laughter of all the guests. For quite a while Andrea remained constantly at Orlandos side. She hoped that eventually shed stop being so nervous around Orlandos friends.

Andrea sat among the rest of the wedding party still feeling awkward. She didnt really know anyone. A few people she had met before, but most she had never seen in her life. She couldnt help but feel as if people were staring at her wondering who on earth she was.

A little while later Orlando left her side and walked across the room to talk with Elijah. Andrea on the other hand, continued to watch things. Shed been in several weddings, but in each one she still felt emptiness in her heart. Her last serious relationship ended six years earlier. She broke up with her boyfriend when they were juniors in high school and hadnt been with a guy since. At twenty-three years old she knew she still had time, but the more weddings she attended the lonelier she became.

Andrea was so caught up in her thoughts that she barely noticed a light tap on her arm. She turned and smiled expectantly. There stood a young girl wearing a sleeveless pink dress.

Hi Miss Andrea! Ally said excitedly.

Ally, you dont have to call me Miss Andrea. Andrea is fine.

Ok! You look really beautiful. She smiled brightly. I didnt know you were going to be in the wedding.

Neither did I. Angie asked me to fill in right beforehand. Her friend had to drop out last minute.

Yeah. I just finished talking with her a minute ago. She promised that she would take really good care of Uncle Dom.

Im sure she will. Andrea laughed. She seems like a great lady.

Yeah she is. Ally looked around the room for a minute and then said, Hey Andrea, I think Uncle Billy and Cait are getting ready to leave. I want to see the baby before theyre gone. Ill be back in a few minutes, ok?

Ok Honey. Dont hurry on my account. Ill be around if you want to talk some more.

Still sitting in her chair, Andrea smiled as she watched the young girl make her way to the other side of the room. The more she got to know Ally the more she liked her. Perhaps she would have a daughter as sweet as that someday.

A pair of hands gently squeezed her shoulders. She smiled as she realized who it was.

Its getting kind of stuffy in here. Orlando said softly into her ear. Would you like to take a walk outside with me for a few minutes?

Sure. Orlando offered his hand to Andrea and helped her out of her seat.

The two walked through the room relatively unnoticed. Suddenly Orlando stopped and hugged the man that stood in front of them. They had been talking for a few minutes when Andrea was remembered.

Oh! Im sorry! This is my best friend Andrea. Andrea, this is Doms older brother.

Nice to meet you. She smiled. The conversation lasted a few more minutes before they excused themselves. Orlando opened the door for Andrea and they went outside.

The weather was beautiful. It was pretty warm out considering it was only February. The sun was shining brightly and there was a soft breeze.

Im sorry about that. I hadnt seen Doms brother in quite a while. I was too excited. I just had to say hello.

Thats alright. I understand. Andrea leaned up against the building.

You know you look really beautiful, Andrea.

Yeah right. She laughed as she playfully smacked Orlandos chest. Thanks anyway.

Im serious. Its not fair to the bride. He smirked.

Their eyes met as they both became quiet. Orlando continued to smile as he brought his lips to hers.
