Okay so I thought this up right now, how bout all of us add on to a paragraph about Orlando and see where it goes from there. If no one else wants to write the first paragraph I'll write it but if someone else wants to they can.

Since our story has been deleted let's try to start up a story again. Where were we?
How about we start a new one? I don't remember where we were or the girl's name. LoL! It was a Saturday night and Orlando Bloom was sitting on his couch in front of the tv watching.... ![]() |

Not something that he usually did on a Saturday night, but having just flown back to London from the Italian premiere of his latest film, he was feeling a bit jet lagged and depressed. The reviews of the film had not been good, and his agent wasn't returning his calls.
He could have stayed another night in Rome, but he was fed up with the women and the booze and the partying, and was looking forward to a night at home alone (well, with the exception of his faithfal dog Sidi) in front of the telly, catching up with the newest series of "Dr. Who". He had just gotten comfortable on the sofa when the telephone rang. |

"Hello?" He mumbled.
"Orlando?" "What do you want?" "Hey, I'm your sister. Can't I just call you up and see how things are going?" Samantha aked. "No." Orlando rolled his eyes. "What do you want?" ![]() |

"Orlando, is everything okay? You haven't called in days, and I was just concerned."
"Yes, everything is fine, can't a guy just have a night to himself!?" he snapped. "Sure doesn't sound like everything is fine. What's bothering you, Orlando?" "Aww, it's just --- it's nothing. It's nothing. Don't worry about." Orlando's voice quieted, and he apprehensively wrapped his fingers around the telephone cord. "C'mon, you know you can tell me anything. What is it, Orlando?" ![]() |

Orlando paused. "I just..I need time to think, Sam. I'll give you a call later."
He hung up on her just as she was about to protest. "What the hell is wrong with him?" She thought when she heard the dial tone. He was definitely not acting like himself. When he couldn't be with his family, he had called constantly. It had been over a week since she heard from him. Maybe he was having problems at work? No, even when work was bad or hectic he still talked to her. She remembered the last time he distanced himself like this. There was something wrong. ![]() |

Orlando attempted to settle back into the comfortable depths of the sofa. He glanced over at Sidi, now peacefully asleep, and shut his eyes for what he thought would be a moment or two.
A few hours later Orlando awoke to the disrupting drone of the doorbell. As he allowed his guest to come inside, he couldn't help but question what provoked this unexpected visit from the last person he thought he'd see tonight. ![]() |

Peter Jackson, who looked as if he were going to become the next spokeperson for TrimSpa, walked into Orlando Bloom's lounge with purpose.
"Orlando, you have been avoiding me." Orlando started to protest, but Peter wouldn't be interrupted. "No, no, you HAVE been avoiding me. And Fran. Ever since Oscar night." It didn't take a brain surgeon to remember that night. Or a rocket scientist. Anyone and everyone in the film industry was familiar with that particular Oscar ceremony. The Lord of the Rings: Return of the King swept the event, claiming the highest number of Oscars ever received by one film. But it wasn't what happened at the ceremony or even the Governor's Ball that caused Orlando to stay out of PJ's way. In fact, it was something that happened at the after party sponsored by The One Ring.Net. But Peter wouldn't understand. He wouldn't even remember the incident. But it had left a lasting mark on the young Englishman and had turned the tide on his career. "C'mon Orlando, even when you did your ADR for the Extended Edition of Return of the King, Fran and I sensed something was wrong. But whatever it is, I hope that we can get past it, because I need a favor from you, a big one." |

He frowned, watching the director with furrowed eyebrows.
"I'm fine really," he spoke at last, squinting at the sunlight that passed through the window. "You know, you didn't become a successful actor telling the truth," Peter said, with a smirk, he wanted to make Orlando laugh, perhaps this way he might squish out some information as to what bothered the Brit. "I'm not a successful actor," he retored, wanting to curl himself onto the couch and watch Sidi eat breakfast. ![]() |

"You shouldn't let those writers from the New York Times get you upset. Look at the films you have been in since Rings: Troy, Kingdom of Heaven, Elizabethtown."
"Peter, not a one of those was as successful as they SHOULD have been. None of those was as successful as Lord of the Rings." Orlando leaned back into the sofa and sighed. "I don't know, Pete. It's like I peaked on my first film and the more I try ..." He didn't complete his sentence. "Maybe the fans were right. Maybe I am nothing more than a pretty face." |

Peter looked intently at Orlando, you could not argue with him, he did indeed have a pretty face. The directors face contorted slightly as he tried to think of comething comforting to say, 'Orlando, do you really think they would have put you up against Jeremy Irons if they thought you were nothing more than a himbo, do you think I would have put you in the same film as sir Ian Mckellen if your acting range was nothing more than a spoon?'
Orlando looked up, brown eyes suddenly hard, defensive even, 'So good I ended up in a gap advert? Thats not gonna win me an oscar.' Again Peter struggled, manic depressive actors were not really conductive to favours. 'No perhaps not, but you know, Ridley Scott started out in adverts.' 'I started out as a rent boy, anyway, what can I do you for?' 'Wasn't that the line you said in Wilde?' the director looked nervous. ![]() |

"No, the line was 'looking for someone?' as anyone who has the internet could probably tell you." Orlando exhaled and flopped himself down on his leather sofa. He ran his hands through his long chocolate curls and wondered how he had gotten himself into this state.
"I am sorry, Pete. You didn't deserve that. It's just since Dom and I read that internet fan board for me... fan board, that's ironic; all they did was bash my acting in Lord of the Rings. 'THEY'RE TAKING THE HOBBITS TO ISENDGARD' is the biggest running joke. Anyhow, ever since I went to that board, I can't get some of the things written there out of my head. The head moderator was particularly cruel. The thing is that now I am addicted: I end up visiting that site several times a day. Even when nothing new is posted, I go back and read the archives, which is filled with bollocks about me and some guy named Andre. I have the feeling that they actually like Andre better than me." "Shake it off, Orlando," the director replied sagely. "I think that I have something that might take your mind off internet gossip." Peter pulled a large script out of his briefcase and gave it to Orlando. "What do you say to this?" |

Re: The OBF add on story (G-PG-13)

'I say that is going to take me a bloody long time to read,' retorted Orlando twisting the script around. 'It better not be 'War and Peace.'
Peter shook his head. 'No its not but I think you might like it.' 'Its called untitled...' 'Well, its untitled at the minute because, well there were legal concerns. The lawyers are sorting that out now. Orlando, I want you to be Robin Hood in my next movie.' 'Really?' 'Yes really Orlando, I think you have been getting a rough press recently about your acting skills. After the stunts you did on Lord of the Rings, and you already know archery, I think you would be perfect as my dashing lead in the film.' 'Well,' said Orlando, 'That board is gonna love this when I tell....when they find out, some of them already think I look like Errol Flynn.' 'You needn't worry about that yet, you haven't said yes to me.' 'I'll read the script and let you know at the end of the week.' 'I need to know by tomorrow Orlando, let me know ASAP, I've got a lot already invested in this...' ![]() |

Peter paused. Seeing that nothing more would be taken in by Orlando at the moment he took out another smaller wad of paper and sat it on the coffee table.
"Some notes," He said, "For you to look through" When Orlando didn't answer but merely continued to stare at the top of the script Peter sighed, "I'll see myself out," Peter turned and walked towards the door. Orlando remained seated on the couch staring at the script in his hands. He heard the door close and visibly slumped into the couch, running a hand through his hair. It was going to be a long day, and he had to get out of this place. |

Orlando dropped the script and notes onto his kitchen counter. He pulled on a beany hat, and a scarf. Sliping on his coat and shoes he picked up the script and notes, and went to the door. Glancing down at the answering machine he saw it flash a red digital one every half second.
Orlando pressed the play button. "Orli, its your mother..." Orlando pressed delete. "Sorry, Mum." He whispered before leaving his house and making his way to the nearest Starbucks. Edited to remove signature that exceeds 400x200 limit. MM42 |

Starbucks was heaving. There was the most god awful mothers meeting going on in the corner where a group of women were muttering about the 'best moot ever'.
He rolled his eyes. Moots were for ents, then he smiled to himself, perhaps all the entwives had gone off to Starbucks and become addicted to lattes. As if to prove a point, one of the women was holding her cup like it was the holy grail. Amused he waitied his turn in the queue and ordered an expresso. Much as he loved Starbucks if he stayed anywhere too long, the groupies started arriving, and tonight he was quite in the mood. Peter's deadline was unfair. An update of the Robin hood legend sounded good, all to be shot in New Zealand, but he did wonder if it would be a little corny. Anyway, he had already done the green tights thing hadn't he. He peered at the script. Frans writing was all over the opening sequence, heavy re writes again, Orlando could see days of memorizing words vanishing into the mist again, everyline he had in Lord of the Rings had been learned on the day. The group of women in the corner punctured his thoughts. One of them was flinging her arms about wildly in a semi pointing motion. 'THEY ARE TAKING THE HOBBITS TO ISENGARD!' she boomed and smirked at Orlando. Peeved, he realised it was time to go. Downing the expresso, he left Starbucks and headed back out into the night. ![]() |

A dozen eyes followed Orlando out of the door.
Kim put down her coffee cup and made a face at Mellie. "Laying it on a bit thick, weren't you?" "He deserved it," she countered. "After the way he treated us at the Return of the King premiere?" "He didn't do anything to us at the Return of the King premiere," stated Fran. "He wasn't there." "PRECISELY!" Mellie exploded. "Not that you would remember," smirked Kim. "Seems to me that you and Marie spent a lot of time in the pub that day." "HEY!" interjected Marie. "Uh...I met Aragorn." "Riiiiight. And I stood next to the most obnoxious girls on the planet while they yelled for Orlando for three hours, just so I could get Howard Shore's autograph." Kim resumed drinking her non-fat vanilla latte. "You know?" Mellie interjected all of a sudden, getting up from the table and pulling on her coat. "I am going to see if I can follow him." "Uh, why?" asked Fran. "He's an utter wanker. And you hate his acting." "I dunno. Might be funny. Any one coming with?" Kim stood up. "Why not? We could put it in a story on the Orli Board, if nothing else." "Well, I'm staying here," said Marie. "You two are nuts. He isn't going to talk to you; he'll probably have you arrested for stalking him." "Think of it as anti-stalking. We are following him to make sure that is isn't going anywhere that WE want to be," Mellie cackled. "We'll text you if anything good happens," said Kim and went out with Mellie into the chilly London night. "Mel, did you see which way he went?" "Of course. I'm not just a detective in your stories, Kim; he went this way." Mellie led Kim down the street into a small mews. "Uh, Kim." "Yes..." "If Jack the Ripper kills me while we are doing this, I designate you the new Evil Head Admin." "Thanks, thanks a lot." Kim pushed past Mellie to take the lead. |

Kim started fumbling about in her haversack for something. Mellie was about to berate her for being noisy when a trowel and a torch were brandished in her face.
'Good god, are you always this prepared.' hissed Mellie, pushing the torch away from her eyeline. 'And you shouldnt point that thing at people.' Kim merely sniggered and handed the offending torch over and proceeded to follow Orlando, trowel at the ready. *** The mist was starting to thicken in London, and Orlando pulled his beany over his ears. It muffled the sound of the traffic and the actor began to feel pleasently alone. He meandered down the streets only half realising where he was going. It wasn't until he saw the Cutty Sarks dim figure he realised he was in Greenwich. The tourist attraction was long closed but it seemed to be calling him in. The first decision Orlando had made for himself and by himself in a long time led him to breaking in to the ship and sitting in the Captains Cabin. The script on his desk. *** 'My feet hurt,' said Kim in a twisty voice, Mellie rolled her eyes, ' and I left half a preci...Latte back there.' 'Shut up, you are enjoying this really.' said Mellie. 'I know, but it never hurts to point these things out.' 'Look,' said Mellie pointing, 'he's climbing up a rope.' 'I've seen worms with more grace.' A wicked glint caught in Kim's eye. 'Lets call the police.' 'No,' said Mellie, 'I have a more brilliant idea...' ![]() |

Re: Unknown | ||

"Does your brilliant idea have anything to do with the fact that they have been scouting this location for filming the next installment of Hornblower?" queried Kim.
"Why, Kim? Whatever gave you that idea..." Mellie grinned mischeviously. "Look, PROPS!" Mellie ran over to a large wooden crate and starting pulling out 18th century swords and Royal Navy paraphenalia as quietly as she could. "Wanna cutlass? No, better yet, look! a megaphone!" "Oh goodness," exclaimed Kim. "She's armed AND louder than usual. He's screwed." Mellie and Kim watched from the dock as Orlando climbed the rope all the way up to the ship's deck and swung his legs onboard. "That can't be legal, right?" Mellie asked, amazed at the actor's audacity. "Not as far as I know." "Okay, good. Great! Now we are going to have a little fun. At Mr. Bloom's expense of course." "Perhaps even 'create a diversion'?" Kim grinned mischeviously. "Oh Kim, that was bad. SO bad... mwahahahaha!" Mellie and Kim sneaked along the waterfront, armed with torch, trowel, cutlass and megaphone. Mr. Bloom had no idea what was headed his way. *** Orlando Bloom stepped out of the captain's cabin and stood at the forecastle of the Cutty Sark, breathing in the night air trying to clear his head. Breaking and entering into a historic sight was not something he had ever done before, but it seemed a good idea at the time and, standing on board of the ship, he felt utterly relaxed for the first time since getting back from Italy. |

Re: The OBF add on story (G-PG-13)

The smog was getting thicker by the second and whilst the Cutty Sark was having a soothing effect on the actor, the atmospheric weather conditions were turning his misadventure into a scene from a horror. He tightened the scarf and was about to return to the captains cabin when and eerie shrill whistle pierced the air.
Orlando held his breath, hed watched enough of Master and Commander to realise that noise a was a ships whistle. He was about shrug the experience off as a minor hallucination brought on from his earlier dalliance with the starbucks espresso when a stage whisper from somewhere near the ships wheel hissed a Hold her steady boys, pass out the arms, we dont want the frenchies to hear us before we rake her. Orlando was certain that this wasnt the espresso. Peering around in the gloom he thought he saw a figure flit down the port side clutching a cutlass and another smaller weapon as yet he could not identify. Quickly he chased after the shadow as quietly as he could. While Orlando was chasing shadows, Mellie launched part two of the plan. Slipping into the captains cabin, she hid behind a rather cheesy looking wax model, and after straightening its wig, she hid and waited. Kim dashed to the deck below and ran for the captains cabin. She pushed the door noisily open and then quietly hid herself under the cot. Shortly afterwards Orlando burst into the room. The room was exactly as he had left it. The yellow pages of a script was still there. It glowered at him accusingly. Sighing he slumped back into the chair and began to read robin hood. He was beginning to relax when the wax dummy bellowed at him. ![]() |

Re: The OBF add on story (G-PG-13)

"WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING IN MY CABIN, BOY? IF I WANTED TO BE A PEEP SHOW I'D HAVE JOINED THE CIRCUS!" boomed a voice from behind the wax effigy.
Orlando jumped backwards in his seat, tipping the chair over and tumbling on to the floor. "JESUS CHRIST!" he exclaimed. The voice echoed in the cabin and afterwards there was silence. Orlando had frozen in place on the floor, his heart racing loudly. He called out quietly, "Uh, hello? Is anyone there?" He sat quietly with his back towards the door of the cabin, dreading an answer. A ghostly whisper filled the cabin, "Well, Captain, I just be wanting to know if you be wanting your cup of coffee like, wasn't meaning to intrude or nothing." Orlando whimpered and his mind starting to race as quickly as his heart. "This isn't happening, this isn't happening," he whispered to himself. Kim had to cover her mouth with both hands to stifle her giggles while Mellie stuffed the cuff of one of the sleeves of her jacket into her mouth. This was too easy. Then Mellie quietly edged the wax figure of the captain from its place so that it blocked the doorway of the cabin. There was no means of retreat for the young actor. Orlando found that his legs were not responding to what he wanted them to do so instead of getting up and running out of the cabin, he could only pull himself with his hands backwards towards the door. But he found himself stopped at the doorway; something was blocking his path. Without turning around, he reached behind him and felt a foot. He moved his arm a little higher and realized that the foot was attached to a leg. The voice boomed again, this time even louder: "DAMN YOUR IMPUDENCE, SIR!" |
