How bad it is that I, a self professed HUGE HP geek, never even noticed that Lily & James come out of the wand backwards?? Wow. I fail.

I COULD post my top ten, but seven of them would be taken up by the same series...

I just re-read Catcher in the Rye. LOVE that book. So fantastic, very brilliant.

I have been putting off reading the 3rd book in the Eragon series. *sigh* I guess that's next...

I am going to make a post for the LOTR book club, Indie's BRILLIANT idea. Everyone go participate!!

I just re-read the 6th and 7th Harry Potter book.

Definitely cried!

Now I sort of want an HPish tattoo.

If I were to get a tattoo, that would probably be one of the only things I would consider. A tiny owl perhaps.

I just finished Revolutionary Road. It was AMAZING. Totally recommend it!

I read The Red Tent and was not a fan.

I'm currently reading an ARC (advanced reading copy for those not in the know ;P ) of "In this way I was Saved" - pretty good, easy to read, and kinda creepy!

I sort of wanted "not all those who wander are lost" on the top of my foot, or along my ribs, but EVERYONE has that quote from LOTR.

For HP I was thinking about either getting the stars in the US edition that border the page numbers or maybe "It's real for us" from when Snape and Lily are children.

But I'm too chicken.

well, i thought i was in the movie thread but since im here..

I just read The Fountainhead by Ayn Rand.
She's my favorite author. I've only thread three of her books, the last i'm going to read is Atlas Shrugged, but I've also read her egoism vs altruism debates. such a wonderful writer.

I LOVED the Fountainhead!
So much.

It's one of my favorite books in the last few years that I've read, but I haven't read anything else by her.

may i recommend We the Living?
its my favorite book of hers, also her very first. I love how she has such complex relationships and a plot to keep the mind entertained, waiting for the next breakdown of society.
shes my hero.

Kat, beware: the movie does not do it justice!
You lose all the poetry and magic that the book has.
I still cried, but they change a lot.

When I go on break at work, sometimes I don't feel like reading anything deep so I just pick up an US magazine or People. Does anyone else do that when they don't feel like really doing any reading? Anyone read celebrity magazines like that?

Yes Indie, constantly. I get EW and read it cover to cover almost the minute it arrives. It's like crack...if I knew what that was like!
